ANNA FETTER

ABOUT

In Fetter's work, she explores the interplay between the body and materials. She often creates sculptures that are edgy, aiming to evoke various emotions, whether it be beauty or disgust. Her work draws inspiration from religion, folklore, masks, and various forms of puppetry. She pushes her personal boundaries as well as the limits of the techniques she frequently employs, including mold-making, epoxy casting, and steel frames. Amplifying imperfections and emotions serves as the starting point for her new works. This process results in a world where Fetter can establish rules and establish connections with the viewer.

In 2019, Anna graduated from HKU fashion design, and since then, she has worked as a welder on commission, in set design, and has also created independent art
